This weekend was my bachelorette weekend in Asheville, NC! My sister, friends, and I travelled to the eclectic mountain town to celebrate for a weekend, and I had a blast! We booked a house through airbnb and when I arrived, they had already decorated the house with balloons, confetti, and fun banners! I don’t normally like being the center of attention, but it was so thoughtful with all of the things they had planned for the weekend.
Friday we went out to this amazing restaurant called Nine Mile. It had a caribbean inspired menu, and it was so tasty! Afterwards, we headed out to Skybar, a three level rooftop bar with an old timey elevator that reminded me of the tower of terror at Disney World. Saturday there was a chance of thunderstorms on and off throughout the day, but the number one thing I wanted to do while we were there was go tubing down the French Broad River. We decided to risk it and went early morning to try to avoid the afternoon storms. Well the weather turned out to be perfect, and I was so happy that we got to go. Afterwards we headed to New Belgium Brewery and enjoyed more of the sunshine before heading back to the airbnb to shower up and make tacos for dinner. Sunday we had breakfast and coffee at Ultra Coffee Bar before parting our ways to head back home.
I had such a fun weekend and am so thankful that all my favorite people were able to come celebrate! To Megan, Caitlin, Megan, Dana, and Kim: thank you and I can’t wait to see you all in three months!! :)
PS - Can you believe it's only a little over three months until I get married?!
