Saturday was wedding day for Amy and Lyndon! And, in what seems to be a trend, the weather forecast was calling for thunderstorms all week for Saturday. Until the day of, and as the hours passed until ceremony time, the chance of rain went from 70% to 0%, and we had a beautiful day for these two to get married!
Amy had a beautiful strapless gown with intricate beaded detail and a long train. The bridesmaids were wearing the loveliest shade of a blue-gray and I was just obsessed with it! Lyndon and his groomsmen were decked out in gray tuxes and looked incredibly dapper! On top of everyone just looking amazing, the details for the day were all perfect! The flowers had succulents, and I am such a sucker for succulents, so I couldn’t get enough of them!
Their ceremony and reception were held at the Historic Mankin Mansion in Richmond, VA. And let me tell you, this place is a wedding photographer’s dream! There are so many nooks and crannies with gorgeous spots for portraits, it was hard to pick which was the best! Not to mention the staff was so friendly and helpful, and helped the day go off without a hitch!
Their reception was lovely and to hear the toasts for Amy and Lyndon was truly special. You can just tell how much their family and friends loved them and were so happy to be there with them for their wedding day. They even had people traveling from as far as the state of Washington just to be there for them! Now if that’s not a true sign of how much they are loved, then I don’t know what is!
Amy and Lyndon, I wish you a lifetime of happiness. And thank you for letting me a part of your beautiful wedding day!
